A trusted, youth-led non-profit driving transformational change across Nepal — guided by evidence, equity, and inclusivity.

Youth Action for Sustainable and Eco Nepal (YASEN) was established on 27 March 2023. We address the nation's most pressing challenges — climate change, environmental degradation, and social inequality — creating sustainable solutions that protect nature, meet human needs, and build resilient communities throughout Nepal.
One of our key initiatives, the Eco Waste Smart School campaign, promotes environmental consciousness and waste management in schools — reaching more than 400 students across 5 schools in Nepal.
Recognised by decision-makers and academics as a non-partisan authority on Nepali climate solutions.
Our work is grounded in evidence, lived experience, and youth perspectives from every region of Nepal.
We prioritise equity, inclusion, and environmental rights for all Nepalis.
